Each season in the Farmington Valley is filled with adventure,
beauty and surprises:
Don’t miss…

Discover Spring. . . See the valley in bloom and discover our historic sites along the way; bike or hike the Farmington Valley Greenway, or perhaps, float above it all in a hot air balloon. After all, pink tourmaline cherry trees and dogwoods mingle with citrine forsythias as the new world awaits exploration.

Enjoy cool Summer fun. . . Experience our rivers via canoe or kayak; fly-fish, tube or swim the lazy days away; or just watch from your riverside dining table at one of the valley's fine restaurants. Emerald green trees line the trout-filled blue topaz rivers of our valley.

Fall in love with the Valley. . . Sunlight glistens on blazing fall foliage around every bend in the road. The landscape is dotted with antique shops while colorful roadside stands are filled to the brim with pumpkins and cornstalks. And when night falls, check out a country auction or local ghost tales; or check into a local B&B. Watch as the corals and garnets of autumn leaves float to the ground.

Warm up to Winter. . . white pearls of snow sparkle like diamonds with the spirit of the holidays. Cross-country or downhill skiing abounds; or snuggle up for a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Find unique holiday gifts at area boutique shops or an upscale mall. Afterwards, candlelight dinners await or cozy up to a crackling fire in the comfort of a classic inn.
